TU is a credit reference agency in Hong Kong, and a TU credit report records your loans, your credit cards, your repayment history and how often lenders have looked at the report. Lenders usually check it when assessing an application, and late payments and existing debt can affect the result and the terms. You can ask TU for a copy of your own report to check that the details are right.
